Title: Bs busy at trade table. Deal with SJ stuck.
Post by: jackdaniels on February 18, 2015, 11:52:39 PM

Didnt want to trade my top spec but need to plug holes.

Dealt to SJ
RW - Oliver Bjorkstrand (2013: 3/89 - 0 Games)
Daniel Briere, $1.5m (2014-2017)
Kevan Miller, $0.2m (2013-2015)

Bs get
R.J. Umberger, $1.6m (2014-2017)
Marc Methot, $3.5m (2014-2017)

Had to give SJ Bjorkstrand to get RJ and Marc to beantown. We are here to defend our title. Hoping this wasnt one move too many.

Lol thought you didn't want to do this. I'm good with it.
:iatp: Shedding salary for the rebuild. We gain 3.4m in salary cap in this trade. Miller will recover and be a great dman for us. Briere can be bought out or not. We'll see.

Happy to be part of the deadline day buzzer beater trade.

:iatp: An even trade when you take cap savings into account for San Jose and the projected value of Bjorkstrand.

:iatp: RJ is the best player here but Bjorkstrand is a great kid to grab.
