Title: Trade - Blue Jays/Red Sox
Post by: ThePetis on February 17, 2015, 11:35:54 AM

The :TOR: and :BOS2: have reached agreement on a deal.

:TOR: Receives:
SP Erik Johnson ($440K - 2019)
C Curt Casali (PC)
SP Shane Dawson (PC)

:BOS: Receives:
SP Brandon Morrow ($3.75M - 2017)
RP Dale Thayer ($1.8M - 2016)
RP Stolmy Pimentel ($505K - 2016)
:TOR: 15th round selection in current draft

:TOR: confirms.  We were looking to dump a little salary after our free agent splurging.  I like having catching depth in a 2-catcher league and hope that Johnson can find the form he had prior to 2014.

:BOS: to confirm.

Red Sox confirms.  This adds some much needed pitching for several years to come.
