Contract Buyouts & Extensions for contracts expiring 2010-2011:  present - June 25 12:00 AM EST

Free Agency Begins: June 1 @ 12:00 AM EST
    Centers -  June 26 @ 12:00 AM EST
    Wingers - July 5 @ 12:00 AM EST
    Defensemen - July 15 @ 12:00 AM EST
    Goalies - July 25 @ 12:00 AM EST

Contracts expiring 2011-2012 are open for extensions:  August 1 @ 12:00 AM EST

Please note, one week remaining of extensions and buyouts.  These are for the 2010-2011 season.  If you buyout the contract the money will come off the books when the books roll over on Saturday the 25th.  Free agency will begin Sunday June 26th.  Also, the draft will be determined in due time, no set date yet.

Also, note if your team is over the Cap or over roster size.  Penalties will begin to be enforced.

So each position has a different opening??? Do they each close or they remain open when the other opens.

I am finishing the page updates tonight.  Sorry if your roster isn't current yet, busy night at work thus far.  But they will be done before 7 AM EST.

Is this still happening at this time and do we do use the previous 2 years still or only last year's values. Since it would be 2011-12 season and 2010-11 season as the 2 seasons.

Extensions will use the previous 2 seasons. The highest one still.  Once the first game of the 2011-12 season starts you can use that season and the last season
