Title: Hurricane Jets deal
Post by: favo_zomg on February 14, 2015, 07:53:02 AM

:CAR-NHL: sends:
Alexander Steen $6.4 (2014-2018)
Nikita Nesterov $1.5 (2014-2017)
Carolina 4th

:WIN: sends:
Ryane Clowe, $3.0m (2013-2016)
Nikita Zadorov, $2.0m (2014-2015-EL)
Winnipeg 2nd

This deal accomplishes several things for us. One, we get another young stud in Zadorov. For his first season, he is averaging almost 1 ppg. We like that. He might do well enough to earn a 3 year contract worth 1.5m a season. Second, this opens some cap for us. 2.9m to be exact. And lastly, we upgrade a 4th to a 2nd!

This deal makes our future look very bright.

Thanks for the deal,  JohnnyWeissflog, and good luck in the playoffs.
