Title: White Sox/ Twins trade
Post by: Dan Wood on February 09, 2015, 05:53:52 PM

White Sox get
OF Saunders, Michael, $4m (2018)

Twins get
OF Jackson, Austin, $9.5m (2018)

Straight up preference deal. I am, nor have I ever been, a fan of Ajax. I think Saunders has a better skill set for this league and heading to a more favorable park. Plus I save 5.5 mil a year. Twins to confirm. Thanks Andy.

:CHW: takes on a much larger contract but we like Jackson more.

Saunders has had some injury-prone seasons and has hit above .250 just once in his career (last year) whereas Jackson has hit below .250 just once in his career.
