Title: Detroit Tigers Roster Moves (11/29/2014)

The Detroit Tigers announce the following roster moves:

Uncoditional Release:
Brayan Villarreal (40-man)
Luis Marte (AAA)
Paul Davis (AA)
Jack Duffey (AA)
Will Roberts (AA)
Andrew Jones (A - West Michigan)

Outright and assign to AAA (for the purpose of not paying arbitration):
Jose Ortega (40-man)
Daniel Schlereth (40-man)
Danny Worth (40-man)
Brennan Boesch (40-man)

Ortega, Schlereth, Worth and  Bosch cannot be placed back in minors without paying arbitration, and therefore go into free agent pool, correct? I just want to make sure i understood the rule correctly when i made made  my own arb decisions.

The players are exposed to waivers, if claimed they are placed on the claiming teams 40-man roster at their ARB salary.  This is a common practice in MLB and is allowed here.
