Title: Angels/ChiSox deal
Post by: mgzd on November 22, 2014, 01:29:25 PM

Angels 4th rounder and their acquired Sox 5th and 6th rounders
for
Tyler Flowers and Addison Reed, both Arb eligible

I need picks to continue the re-building, and the Angels were the only team to make a decent proposal for two MLBers.

Angels approve.

Angels have been building up towards making a run starting in 2015 and this helps. Both Reed and Flowers may very well lose their jobs soon but giving up non elite picks is worth the gamble for a team primed to win now.

Thanks to the chi sox for easy, quick negotiation.
