Padres give Anthony Rizzo a prospect extension. This being 1 year out of the p-2015 makes this a %50 of base rate extension.
 
Rizzo was was the #1 CI in 2014 = 27.5m. Divided by 2 = 13.75 roinded upto 14m. This must be a 5 year extension. This kicks in next season per the rules.  Thank you.
