Title: League Updated - Please Read
Post by: joeshmoe on March 03, 2011, 01:49:34 PM

League Updated:  3/3/11 @ 1:26 pm est.

Hello to All,
I am happy to say the league has finally had an update.  I apologize for the delay.  My health and time have been cumbersome here over the past few months.  I will be much more active with updates and also with Weekly Rankings, Deadlines and etc.  I'm glad to see the activity level of our members we have.  Only a few more teams to fill with quality managers.  So I know who has read this, and who is still participating; please reply to this message with anything.  A simple emoticon would be great.  I have some changes below, please read them as well.

Chris

A)  Please do not PM me if your cap figure isn't rounded.  I know there are some teams out there with an issue.  Round to the lowest and you'll have no problem with me.  When I update next I will be looking into solving this.

B)  I have updated MiLR to reflect the 40 game limit.  I will do this again at seasons end.  There are a few notes to be made here, so please READ.

   - Players with more than 40 games played in their NHL career have been given contracts.  Value of the contract is derived from draft position.

   - During initial league setup, some players were put onto MiLR against the rules, per the 40 game limit.  These players were given less years for their prospect contracts.
Ex.  Player A had more than 40 NHL games played during or before the 2008-2009 season; they received a prospect contract with
                                one year remaining.
Ex.  Player B had more than 40 NHL games played during the 2009-2010 season; they received a prospect contract with two
                                years remaining.
Ex.  Player C had more than 40 NHL games played during the 2010-2011 season; they received a prospect contract with three
                                years remaining.

C)  Please DO PM me if there is an error with your roster.  DO NOT clutter the forum with the changes please.
