I like this deal for being simple and filling depth player needs.

TO BRUINS :BOS-NHL:  Cap hit 0.2
RW Matt Fraser, $0.2m (2013-2015)
D - Cody Goloubef  (2008: 2/37 - 12 Games)
Round 4 - 2015 CBJ

TO BLUE JACKETS :CLS:  Cap hit 0.9
LW Shawn Thornton, $0.7m (2014-2016)
D John Erskine, $0.2m (2014-2016)
Round 3 - 2015 BOS

I get immediate help with bangers Shawn and Erskine. I give up a good prospect that won't do shiat for me until 2015-16 and a kid in Fraser with the potential label still inside his shirt collar. I also get a earlier pick.

JD is collecting Bruins. Fine by me because Thornton is going to score me a bunch of pts as a Panther.  :bacon:

B's confirm! We sent a few offers out to add a Rw and Columbus sat down to workout a deal.

Thornton scoring lots of pts and has a cheap cap hit. He had lw/rw eligibility last few yrs, might get it back this yr. Fraser is the real life cheaper replacement for Thornton.

I get guys with some uptick. Ppg gets veterans who score a bit.

:CLS: wins this trade immediately and :BOS-NHL: wins starting next yr or beyond. Goloubef is supposed to be good but you can never tell with young Dmen. Erskine had an off yr last season but looks set to bounce back. Then Thornton > Fraser without a doubt right now. Might be different by the end of the season.
