Sorry, you can't do it
"Any player who is currently under a prospect contract may be signed to a regular contract extension (see below), but they may also be signed to a prospect extension.  Such an extension must be a 5-year deal where the annual salary is X% of their market value.  The resulting annual salary must be no less than $4m. No matter what the current prospect contract is, the prospect extension kicks in the following year at the rate based on when the contract is given."

So tell me what I can do?

I believe this is what you can do with each of your proposed contract extensions:

MI Rollins, Jimmy, $7m (2014) $7m
Highest ranking was in 2014 15th
MI-15 $7m (Walker, Neil)
Can be signed to a new minimum two year contract based on our extension rules.
New Contract:  MI Rollins, Jimmy, $7.0m (2016)

RP Kimbrel, Craig, $0.5m (P-2014) $0.5m
Highest Ranking was 19th in 2013
RP-19 $4m (Marte, Damaso)
Prospects extensions are a minimum of five years for $4.0m
Kimbrel could be signed to either of the following contracts:
RP Kimbrel, Craig, $4.0m (2019) - Prospect extension minimum
                                        or
RP Kimbrel, Craig, $4.0m (2016) or $4.0m (2017) - Regular extension (like Jimmy Rollins)

C Flowers, Tyler, $0.5m (P-2014) $0.5m
Highest Ranking 26th in 2014
C-26 $2m (Cervelli, Francisco)

Prospects extensions are a minimum of five years for $4.0m
Flowers could be signed to either of the following contracts:
C Flowers, Tyler, $4.0m (2019) - Prospect extension minimum
                                        or
C Flowers, Tyler, $2.0m (2016) or $2.0m (2017) - Regular extension (like Jimmy Rollins)

Not Renewing
RP Jansen, Kenley, $0.5m (P-2014) $0.5m
CI Valbuena, Luis, $0.5m (2014) $0.5m
[/quote]

Our rules give us the option of signing prospects to a percentage of their extension value based upon the following:
20XX - 60%
20XX+1 - 50%
20XX+2 - 40%
20XX+3, n/a - 30%

But in your situation, neither Kimbrel nor Flowers benefit from that percentage clause--with Kimbrel actually qualifying for the minimum five year contract of $4.0m.  You have to make a decision regarding both players regarding the option of keeping them for two, three, or five years.

Hope this helps. :toth:
