Basic trade for each teams needs.

Olli Jokinen, $2.3m (2013-2016)  Toronto

For

Jordie Benn, $3.4m (2014-2017)  Colorado


I need Dman, Slack finally offered a deal that I could work with. Benn is a up anbd coming Dman, really blossomed in playoffs. I have enough Ctr's to fill my needs. Cap increase was minimum for me. And I get younger. Thanks for the deal Slack.

Oh and from a trade perspective this looks like 2teams swapping guys for positional need. Straightfwd stuff!

Jotdie Benn could easily be the better player in this trade if he continues on his upward trend from last season. Jokinen is in the twilight of his career but does offer Colorado cap savings in addition to be fairly productive. I will give the Edge to Toronto for acquiring the younger player who still has untapped potential.
