Our quest to get younger continues on with the departure of Steve Downie - another player that we had no intentions of keeping long term. We really like Bournival's potential. Worst case, he turns into another depth player. Best case, he exceeds expectations. We also save 700k in this deal too.

We'll see how Downie does on his new team, but Bournival is young and cheaper. Good deal for both teams.

Downie has been up and down in recent yrs. Bournival might have to fight harder to get ice time. Both are small question marks IMO.
