Marian Hossa, $5.3m (2010-2018)
For
Henrik Sedin, $5.5m (2013-2017)
In the short term I take a beating on this one. Even if Henrik has the expected bounce-back he will fall short of Hossa. That's if Hossa stays healthy of course. Over-all I am satisfied that I'll have an easier time getting value on the back-end of this contract and more importantly I need depth at Center. Thanks to Tarheels for a very easy deal. :toast:

Simply like Hossa better than Sedin.Who wouldn't?
Thanks SlackJack easy dealins

I think the better player here is Henrik Sedin for scoring and age not to mention one less year on equally large contracts for older players.
Still a very close trade in terms of value.

Hossa has been relatively healthy the last few and the better scorer in our league. I like what headed to the Canucks. But both teams get players they want and both players are productive.

Hossa is more valuable but Slack knows what he is doing and this is not detrimental to the team or league

The new owners are stirring things up. Wait until Snug jumps into the mix.

It's like a chop shop over there in Colorado. Lol Hossa is the better player by far. PPG said it best.
