Los Angeles management are pleased to announce a trade with the Buffalo Sabres.
TRADED TO :LAK:
Kris Letang, $6.9m (2013-2017)
LW - Teuvo Teravainen (2012: 1/18 - 0 Games)
Round 4 - 2014 from BUF
TRADED TO :BUF-NHL3:
Valtteri Flippula, $3.6m (2013-2016)
Seth Jones, $3.0m (2013-2016-EL)
Rob Scuderi, $1.2m (2013-2016)
G - Chris Driedger (2012: 3/76 - 0 Games)
G - Tristan Jarry (2013: 2/44 - 0 Games)
D - David Musil (2011: 2/31 - 0 Games)
Kings agree to this trade to acquire another cornerstone for our franchise in Letang. Since we were asked to give up the best players in our MiLR we felt we had to include Teuvo in the package coming to LA.
Kings still give up a lot of production but the opportunity to acquire a talent such Kris rarely presents itself so we had to jump into this trade head first.
Burke to confirm.

If trading Letang and his 7m cap hit means Sabres can get 5-6 guys to plug holes in the :BUF-NHL3: Buffalo organization then that's a great trade for us.
DD was holding a garage sale on prospects and we are in need of quality goalies down on the farm because we have none. Driedger, Jarry and Musil are all very good prospects. Seth Jones is a prize catch. Giving up Teravainen in the deal was the hardest part because he'll be an All-star real soon.
Tough negotiations but worth the agreement we finally reached.

I feel this is a big one, not exactly a blockbuster and certainly great talent going either way. Good deal boys.

:iatp: Big trade. Win to Buffalo for getting a great package.

That's a blockbuster for the sheer size of the trade.
If Letang "returns to form" after 2yrs missing a bunch of games and TT can crack that Hawks lineup then this is an even deal. Otherwise LA sold the farm LOL to get 1 roster player and a couple of specs. Win to :BUF-NHL3: :winner:
