The Giants and the Phillies have agreed to this trade:

Phillies trade:
SP Guthrie, Jeremy, $4m (2016)
X-Cash exchange: Phillies pay $3.0m in 2014

Giants trade:
CI Delmonico, Nicky, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Graham, J.R., $0.5m (P-n/a)

Giants are looking for a SP to offset the Mariners decision to shutdown Roenis Elias.  With the Giants on the fringe of the Wild Card race, Guthrie, who has been on the waiver wire for a while, is just another player for our piecemeal lineup.

Since the Phillies and Giants are both of the Trade Committee, this trade only needs four votes for approval.

"Trade Committee - If zero to one TC members are involved then trade must receive five approvals.  If two TC members are involved then trade must receive four approvals."

Not that it will make much difference for either team because we are both going to miss the playoffs. :doh:
