Title: TRADE Avs and Wings
Post by: izaman3 on August 17, 2014, 10:53:59 PM
To Colorado
Jason Akeson, $0.2m (2014-2016)

To Detroit
D - Jordan Subban (2013: 4/115 - 0 Games)

I'm deep enough that Akeson is buried behind better NHL talent, so I can afford to wait and see if Subban pans out. He definitely won't be either of his brothers, but I'm hoping the talent in the family runs deep, even for the little guy.

I'm starting to feel bad for Pigs and PPG, all these trades and all of FA. But I think this is the best off-season we've had here since I've been here and I love it! Keep it up boys! I don't want my championship to come easy  :win:

Thanks Slack!

Happy to deal mini-subban for a cheap darkhorse RW with mad upside. I'm a :PHI-NHL: fan to boot so yippee!

Thanks to Izaman for an easy one!  :koolaid:

This place is over run with Flyer fans. Thank you PPG! :soapbox:

Now it's the RedWings turn to clear a roster spot. Good prospect added by the Avs with Jordan Subban.

:iatp: Prospect swap. Akeson must be ready to make the jump. Jordan owns a great family name.
