For

Julien Brouillette, $0.2m (2013-2015)
Chris Tanev, $0.8m (2013-2015)
Stefan Elliot, $1.0m (2013-2015)

Elliot/Brouillette are both on two-way deals and not part of my future. Especially given that we have Tyson Barrie. Didn't want to move Tanev but Kassian is a good return for him and the the 2nd covers Elliot just fine IMO. Taking on Brouillette saves me a buy-out.

Thanks To Johnny for replying to half a dozen different offers before settling on this. :toast:

FA bidding on D-men went nuts, this helps me a ton. Elliott is very promising, Tanev is better every year. You never know about Jets, Brouillette might get a change. If not, it's an easy b/o.

Kassian is a true loss, but no can do. 2nd rounder doesn't hurt so much since this year's draft class aint so deep imho.

This deal makes sense for both teams, I like the Avs return here better. Slack approached me about something similar, but I wasn't able to get back in time. Good thing he had a backup plan :rofl:
