Seems we've been talking about this deal forever Johnny but its only been a few days Haha

I like Mika.
Johnny likes Ryan.

Small roll of the dice that Mika's extension cost wont be skyhigh in a yr's time when its due. I know Ryan Strome will kill when he's fulltime this yr but Mika has highside if Sens stop sucking.  :rofl:

Jackdaniel's hit my soft spot - New York Islanders

Hope to see Strome breakthrough this season. At least it will be interesting to follow!

Pending approval of this trade, I would also like to give Strome a 3-year EL deal worth $3m annually.

Great trade involving very talented High-end prospects. Zibanejad is more proven but Strome has been building confidence and developing in the A the way he should in the style of Wings and Bruins prospects. I personally like Strome so will give the Edge to :NYI:.

Looks sort of even but I prefer Zibby's potential as well as the potential turnaround of the Sens this year and more or less dislike Strome in the Islanders organization which has been known to destroy talent.

I prefer Strome over Zibanejad and he comes with a longer contract with a lower cap hit. Of course both play on questionable teams. Even steven.
