OF Johnson, Kelly, $7m (2016)
X-OF Johnson, Kelly, Cash exchanged on Contract 2012, $m in 2014 $-2m $-1m
With cash paid on Johnson the Phillies penalty should be as follows:
2014 - $5.5m hit
2015 - $1.5m hit
2016 - $1m hit
With Johnson's declining skills the Phillies have no use for him in our future plans and I'd prefer to have the cash back in future years. The Phillies wish Kelly well in his future endeavors.
