Reds get
MI Giavotella, Johnny, $0.5m (P-n/a)
OF Lough, David, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Royals get
P Fister, Doug, $0.5m (P-2013)
RP Demel, Sam, $0.5m (2011)

I deal from a strength to get a prospect MI that I am very high on. Lough could turn out to be decent since KC's OF is a wasteland. Freddy it was a pleasure. Royals to confirm.

This helps sure up my SP rotation since guys like Montgomery, Britton, Drabek, and Parker are right at the cusp of making the majors. I like Giavotella a lot but I have Espinosa and Kendrick this year and Segura and Gibson coming up through my system to help in the future. Demel was there to sure up the money for CIN but also improves the depth and talent of my bullpen. Nice long negotiations.
