Title: Brewers -White Sox trade
Post by: fperric on June 14, 2014, 09:31:36 PM

Brewers trade:
Adrian Houser-P (PC) and Brewers 6th round pick

White Sox trade:
  Ran Vogelsong ($3.8M through 2017)

give up another youngster and a pick for old man vogelsong, but I need more bullets if I am going to be able to compete with the big dawgs of the league.

Aquiring the Astros 2nd round selection from the 2011 draft, and a 6th rounder in 2014, (which totals 11 picks in the first 6 rounds), helps the rebuilding project along.
Vogelsong was expendable from our standpoint.

Brewers need to make a roster move to make room for Vogelsong.
