The Phillies and Brewers announce a trade.
The Phillies send
UT Freddy Galvis (2014 $490,000 - 2015 ARB - 2016 ARB)
P Jesse Biddle (minors)
to the Brewers for
SS Yadiel Rivera (minors)
3B Hunter Dozier (minors)
2014 7th round pick

The Phillies do this deal to move some pitching depth for an infield process I'm high on. Also got decent value for Galvis, who has limited team control remaining, in Rivera, a defensive stud, and a mid round pick.

Brewers confirm.
Big Biddle fan; have to have him on every team I run, but more importantly, he tops off a threesome that should come up within a year or so to add depth to a strong young starting staff. As for Galvis, the guy is hurt and hitting .084 but his gold glove caliber defense will get him at bats as a utility man and likely a stopgap replacement for Rollins should he be traded away. I see him and Rivera cut from a similar mold, the big difference being one is here now, while one will take a little longer to get here, hence the draft pick.
