Title: Wild and Sharks Trade

Wild acquire:
Heatley and Boyle

Sharks acquire:
Van Riemsdyk, Raycoft, Zidlicky, Cullimore, Kovalev, Brodizak

Van Riemsdyk was hard for me to move in this situation as he is a young stud that I really like but the prospect of acquiring Heatley and Boyle were just too much. Wild do this to acquire 2 star players to improve their all-star line-up. Most players were included to make the cap work. Sharks move 14.2m in the trade and Wild move 8.6m in the trade for a cap relief for the Sharks of 5.6m. Sharks to accept

Raycroft is an improvement on the fact that I only had 1 active goalie and received Riemsdyk is a fine young LW who's role will improve and increase with the Flyers and received cap space to get players through FA right now. Got filler players to hold me over till I have built the team I am looking to build. Dumped 2 large salaries. Heatley being the one player I didn't want to give up but you have to give up something to get the team you invisioned.
