If you want but you would be over paying. $2.6m is the total amount of the whole contract. So it could be a 2 year - 1.3m contract or a 3 year - 1.5m if you would want him for 3 years.

Sorry that can't be done, it would be 2.6m for 3 years but 2.6m only has to be the total of the contract, so you could do 1.3m for 2 years
