Sorry to be a 5 year contract the value has to be $8m+ per season, please re-work this
-
This would be a 6.5m for 4 years
-
Thats kinda ridiculus.... For 5 years it makes sense... If it has to be 5 years please ignore my bid i'm no longer intrested...

You mean if it is 4 years? If you would like to ignore your bid you would receive the first violation of a warning and if it happens again it will be a 5% cap penalty.
"Penalties for not clearing roster space/cap for a final bid
Upon winning a bid that sets a team over the cap, the GM is granted 24 hours to post the transactions that will make the cap work (either a trade or releasing players). If the transactions are not valid or not posted within 24 hours of the bids being finalized, that team no longer receives the player.
-First violation is a warning
-Second is a 5% cap penalty
-Third and after are compounding 10% cap penalties.
After such a failed bid, the player goes back to the bidding board, starting off at zero, and the 48 hour clock is restarted. The offending team can no longer bid on that player, even if they clear up the cap space to do so.
No exceptions are granted to teams that won the bid but had a trade fall through - if you're not certain you'll have room, make the trade first. In other words, don't bid on a player you can't afford! Note that this applies only to FA. No trades can be completed that set a team over the cap - the trade must be re-worked."

Per the rules; hockeyfreak...you have now been given your warning. Please be sure to bid correctly in the future and if you have questions ask first. It will be costly for your team if you fail to adhere to the rules again.
