Jaime McBain and Zack Boychuk have played more than 40 career games now. Does that mean I need to sign them to 200K and 1.5M contracts respectively?
-
And on fantrax Dalpe was already on my starting roster but he's on my prospect list. Do I need to sign him to a contract as well?
-
Also, am I able to drop Blanchard and Jordan to my MiLR?

Boychuk yes to a 1.5m, but I am unsure about McBain.

Fantrax is just our method of keeping track of points it doesn't matter where they are positioned on the fantrax site.

Jordan, yes and Blanchard, yes. Their contracts will be carried over into the minor league roster but will not count against your cap for the time being.

Mcbain was drafted 63rd overall and your requirements state that if a player was drafted 30-60 he would have to be signed to a 200K contract.
But anyways can I sign him to a 200K contract anyway to open up a spot on my MiLR?

I believe prospect contracts only occur to players in your minor league roster that are under 40 games, I think after the 40 games if not signed they take on a extension type scenario but Chris will have to confimr

Because he has played more than 40 games he is no longer eligible for the MiLR. Being already on the MiLR at the time of his 40 games played, he is eligible for a prospect contract. This is a specific contract which last's for three years and is subject to draft order rules and arbitration.
If you sign a player as a free agent, they must be under 40 games to qualify for a prospect contract.

ok i'll sign mcbain to the 200k 3 year prospect contract subject to arbitration
