Kyle Clifford 2nd Rd. pick 35th overall. Toronto is pleased to sign Kyle Clifford to entry level contract of $200,000 for 3 years.
-
I believe this would fall under the extension rule. As traded prospects are automatically transferred to the major league roster and no longer a prospect in that teams system. Hopefully Chris can give some insight on this

Will need help on this one, cannot figure out any other way to offer him a contract.
-
If we use extension system he is 93 rank LW in 10/11 worth $800,000 per year, 2 year contract. Pick which contract he deserves.

Ok, I am just waiting for Chris to take a look at this. He knows exactly how this works

This is how this transaction would work. He was sent as a minor without a contract to Toronto from a MiLR. According to rules he must go to the major league roster and therefore begin his prospect contract. I see the rules need tightening but this is the interpretation.
