Title: Nationals/Yankees trade

This trade is pending the approval of the Nationals/Reds trade, in regards to Penny.  The Nationals and Yankees have agreed to the following:

Yankees receive:
SP Penny, Brad, $5m (2012) - $3.0m paid by BOS in 2011
CI - James Darnell - $0.5m (P-n/a)

Nationals receive:
OF Joyce, Matt, $0.5m (P-2011)

Sure enough, I found a suitor for Penny.  It costs me a prospect to move him, but in return I get an OF with a bit of upside, who is relatively young, and plays well in this scoring format when in the few AB's he receives.  Gaining a bit more payroll helps also.  Penny would have been a nice cheap SP for me (avg. 55 fpts./game last year), but I felt that gaining a possible starting OF would be more beneficial to my team.  Yankees to approve, thanks Corey.

Yankees approve. This was a no brainer trade for us. We have 4 everyday OF's. Joyce would have been #5. Moving him a cheap SP and a prospect is worth the gamble.
