Title: The New York Mets and the New York Yankees Have made A Trade
Post by: R.A. Dickey 43 on January 04, 2011, 06:05:38 PM

Mets send: John Maine and Dionner Navarro
Yankees send: John Lackey

Mets get a pitcher they so desperetly needed. With an abundance of cap space the Mets happily welcome Mr.Lackey to their team. Yankees to confirm.

The yankees accept. The mets do have a ton of cap room and are need of a lot of pieces.

Yanks get a platoon catcher to help out a weak spot, they bring a pitcher in who is currently a free agent but might get pocked up. The yanks clear a little cap space which will be used here very shortly.

Thanks mets for the easy and simple negotiations.

I approve, but am I the only one wondering why you didn't get RA Dickey instead. Just seems to me that he would be your kind of player.
