The Reds and Cubs are somewhat pleased to announce the following deal:
Cubs acquire:
CI Stewart, Ian, $2.5m (2013)
P Walden, Jordan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
Reds acquire:
OF McLouth, Nate, $5.5m (2011)
+ $3.5m in 2011
C Norris, Derek, $0.5m (P-n/a)
RP Monasterios, Carlos, $0.5m (P-2013)
P Moskos, Daniel, $0.5m (P-n/a)
Cubs fill a need by acquiring a young, every-day CI and a pen arm that they are very high on in Walden. Reds can suck it.
Cubs approve.

Cubs suck it all the time, and do it for zero money. Unlike Jake's mom, at least she has some standards.
Reds agree. With the addition of Frederick Freeman, Stewart became expendable. I got tired of the Cubs bitching how they had no players, and took pity on them. Norris is the real prize here, hope he stays behind the plate. McClouth is a nice rebound candidate on a one year contract. The other two guys can at least clean the stadium and chase away transients when the game is over.
