Braves get

SP Davies, Kyle, $0.5m (2011)
OF Ellsbury, Jacoby, $6.5m (2015)
4 mil paid by Red Sox


Reds get
CI Freeman, Freddie, $0.5m (P-n/a)
RP Hahn, Jesse, $0.5m (P-n/a)
P Walden, Jordan, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Pleasure Aubrey... The Reds are going with a faux rebuilding mode... Freeman will be a nice counterpart to Belt. Braves to confirm, and to make a run at the NL East crown. I now need to change two of my votes - AL Central and NL East

Man do I hate to lose Freeman. I feel almost as bad as I did when the Giants knocked the Braves out of the playoffs this year knowing that Bobby Cox had managed his last game. But I do have Morneau, Dunn, and Freese on the roster so Freeman would have been road blocked. This trade fills two holes of mine, I now have a 3rd OF and a 5th SP both of which are on very good contracts. Thanks, Dan for hanging in there while I was trying to juggle another trade.
