The Nationals and White Sox have agreed to the following:
White Sox receive:
OF Young, Chris B., $9m (2012)
P Vasquez, Esmerling, $0.5m (P-2013)
Nationals receive:
P Richard, Clayton, $0.5m (P-2011)
RP Jenks, Bobby, $4m (2012)
P Clippard, Tyler, $0.5m (P-2012)
OF Danks, Jordan, $0.5m (P-n/a)
P Kyle Heckathorn $0.5m (P-n/a)
This trade is confirmed pending the approval of the Tigers/White Sox trade earlier in the week including Heckathorn.
The Nationals continue to reduce payroll and acquire younger players for the future. My pitching staff should be relatively secure with the addition of Richard, Jenks, and Clippard, and I'm a fan of Danks and his future outlook. We will see if Heckathorn can put it together for a big '11 season and he can improve on his so-so year last season.

White Sox confirm. Chris B. solidifies our OF. Now we just need a few more small pieces to finish the puzzle.
While we always strive to keep the good young talent to feed the major league club, we also realize that we came within a whisper of winning the division last year. Hopefully this off-season's acquisitions will put us over the top.
Thanks Jake for the respectful negotiations. It took a little while but I think we came up with a deal that will be good for both teams.
