Title: Yanks stay busy with another deal on the EVE of RFA
Post by: bravesfan4 on December 31, 2010, 06:03:15 PM

The New York Yankees have sent

CI Dunn, Adam, $12.5m (2013)

To the Atlanta Braves for

P Romero, Ricky, $0.5m (P-2012)
CI Headley, Chase, $0.5m (P-2011)

The Yanks add Romero to a staff of Grienke Dempster Lackey Dickey Johan giving them 6 pretty dang good SP's.  Romero is locked in with the Yanks. However, the plane carry Chase Headley to NY has made an emergency landing as he has already been shipped off in yet another deal by the Yanks. More details to follow before midnight.

The Braves confirm. We add another BIG bat to the lineup to go with Morneau, Uggla, Prado, and Heyward. Winning in this league only comes with Offense and pitching is the price you pay. Hopefully the Braves too will make another deal shortly.
