Yanks do the deal to acquire a GB pitcher who does very well in the scoring system. As we continue to rebuild the pitching rotation.

The Cubs continue to get younger by acquiring Slowey and adding another prospect to the system. While I am sad to see Dickey go, I feel this deal makes more sense for me in the long term, as I now have 3 starting pitchers 27 years of age or younger. With Strasburg's return in 2012, I feel I have set myself up well for the future. Gillaspie is a high-upside player at the CI position, where we have very little depth.
