:ATL: Sends:
OF Colvin, Tyler, $0.5m (P-2013)
SP Garza, Matt, $10m (2014)
C Norris, Derek, $0.5m (P-n/a)
SP Hobgood, Matt, $0.5m (P-n/a)
:CHC: Sends:
SP Hammel, Jason, $7m (2013)
OF Victorino, Shane, $10.5m (2011)
I hate to lose Derek Norris, but I have plenty of good prospect C's and I needed to improve my roster. I hope this trade will allow the Braves to become more of playoff threat in 2011.

Cubs confirm.
What started as a simple swap of pitchers evolved into a deal the Cubs are extremely pleased with. We bring in some inexpensive young hitters with excellent upside, including Norris, who Cubs management has long been a fan of. Good luck to the Braves as they look to make a push towards the playoffs in 2011, while we continue to rebuild the system.

Deal makes sense for both parties. Victorino is a proven top fantasy OF, and Hammel does very well in our scoring system. Norris I think is a stud in the making, but MTK is trading from a position of strength. Colvin is still an unknown quantity, but is young and cheap, and could become a very decent player. Hobgood does have the pedigree to turn things around, despite his miserable year in the minors. The Cubs continue to do a good job of restructuring their team.

Looks good for both.
Hammel does well in this scoring system as stated and Victorino is steady.
I like Garza, but he is expensive, the Cubbies don't mind that though. Colvin is ok, not good OBP and his HR/FBwill be tough to maintain. News of Hobgood's possible injury came out yesterday, a visit to Dr. Andrews is never good. I really like the potential of Norris going forward, especially in our scoring system.
