The Oakland A's would like to extend the contract of the recently acquired Josh Johnson. 

P Josh Johnson $13.5 m (2010)

The new contract will be at 13.5 m for 3 years per the following rankings:

2009 - 2107 - Rank 11
2008 - 816 - Rank 131

Yes it is. I did it with Shaun Marcum and Howie Kendrick. The Marlins signed him for only a year, but he had the option to sign him longer. Since the A's have him he can extend him all he wants given the guidelines of number/years correlation in the rules.
