Title: Trade: Rays / Blue Jays
Post by: ThePetis on February 09, 2014, 02:55:42 PM

The Rays and Jays have reached agreement on a deal:

The Jays receive:

• SP Clayton Blackburn
• Rays 20th round draft pick

The Rays receive:

• OF Moises Sierra ($400K, 2015)
• SP Dustin Driver

The Jays make this deal to acquire a pitching prospect that I like.  Sierra didn't fit into my long-term plans and Driver is so far away from the majors.

Rays to confirm.

Rays confirm....just trying to finish off my major league roster, feel like this is a reasonable deal.
