Blue Jays confirm.

Given the value of 1B in this league, I might regret this trade.  But, I gain one of my favorite players in Simmons, so that helps ease the blow.  Corner infield was a strength on my team, so we're dealing surplus to help solidify our weak middle infield and shed a little salary in the process, which never hurts.

Thanks to the Red Sox for the quick and smooth negotiations.

Any trade needs to have the contracts posted.  Since the spreadsheets are not available, trading is suspended until I can have them back up.  You both can revisit this trade once the spreadsheets are available.
