Title: Cubs GM retires
Post by: Colby on November 10, 2010, 04:18:17 PM
This is the 2nd big market team this week that has had its GM step down.  I hope we don't have some type of virus spreading around... the often active (trade frenzy) Mike Bridgestone has retired due to time commitments.  He didn't want to leave the team inactive in free agency.  His team is similar to the Mets but with better MLB talent, better contracts, but with a worse farm system.  I think we have a few Cubs fans here, but I am not sure if any of them are eligible (see Jeff of the Red Sox).  Please let me know if you want to take over the Cubs.
