Bruins get
Adam Larsson, $1.5m (2013-2016)
LTIR - Martin Havlat, $1.0m (2013-2015)
RW - Ben Hanowski (2009: 3/63 - 5 Games)
Sharks get
Dennis Seidenberg, $3.3m (2013-2014)
Calle Jarnkrok, $0.8m (2013-2015)
C - Ryan Spooner (2010: 2/45 - 4 Games)
Bruins want some help on Right Wing and just missed out on landing another Sharks player that got traded today! We also want to reshape our future roster and dealt Spooner for Larsson who we hope will eventually pan out and Hanowski who we consider a mini project. Dealing Dennis helps us diversify our roster that much more as we fine tune things in Boston.
Good negotiating with you BB! :toast:
Sharks to confirm.

:SJ: confirms this trade!
We're basically tired of Havlat getting hurt all the time, Adam Larsson playing like he was drafted in the 7th round. Spooner is the key to this deal for my Sharks and Seidenberg will put some points on the board for us after we traded three of our regulars earlier today to upgrade in goal.
Thanks for reworking the deal JD! Sorry for the mix up.

I like the deal for both sides. Before the his draft, Larsson was being hailed as the next coming of Lidstrom. I don't see that especially based on his play the last couple years, but defensemen take some time to develop and he has a lot of upside. If Havlat can ever get healthy and click with his linemates, he's a good pickup.
Seidenberg plays for a great team and does his part. Jarnkrok is a great prospect, boy those Wings know how to pick em.

This is a good trade for both teams. I will give the edge to Boston now for adding two players that can help now and the win to San Jose down the road because Jarnkrok and Spooner will be very good players when they land full-time jobs.

I think Burke's Sharks gets the W in this trade. Unloading "Glass" Havlat and getting a couple of solid prospects is a smart move. The way the NHL Sharks are playing there's no guarantee Havlat gets the minutes he had in the past and those groin injuries are totally unpredictable in terms of healing. Larsson might be good in another 2yrs but for now he sucks and plays for a weak team. Boston sending Seidenberg the other way. He is a good player on a good team like Izaman said. His contract is manageable. What's not to like.
