can i offer my advice;

Peter is owed 1m over the next two years.  multiply it by .6666, the buyout rate, and its 666k which rounds up to 700k.  If you divide it over two years its going to be 350k rounded to 400k.  So it'd save you 100k to buy him out this year.  Still want it over two years?

its only 100k but i wanted you to look at it this way because larger contracts have larger ramifications.
