P Gallardo, Yovani, $0.5m (2010)


Big trade for the Indians. Looking for some youth in my pitching staff, Yovani is a great fit. I gave up some good talent to get this done, but with Votto holding my CI position and Escobar holding my MI position! Im happy to add a ace like Gallardo!!


In the process Gallardo, Yovani will sign a 36 million dollar deal. (P Gallardo, Yovani, $12m (2013)

Note that LaPorta surpassed the 50 game mark in 2009, and should have had his clock start last season - he should be on a (P-2012) contract.
