The Nationals and Tigers have agreed to the following:
Nationals receive:
OF Byrd, Marlon, $5m (2012)
Tigers receive:
MI Schumaker, Skip, $5m (2012)
OF Pie, Felix, $0.5m (2012)
With the departure of Hunter and the injury proneness (that's a word, right?) of Cameron, trading off for a more solid OF seems like a good idea. I lose my depth almost completely here with Pie and Schu gone, so my 2011 appears to be riding on a starting lineup alone and the hope of no injuries. Tigers to confirm, thanks Hank.
