Title: FLA/A's Deal
Post by: Needle Juice on October 24, 2010, 10:58:56 AM

OF Revere, Ben, $0.5m (P-n/a)
P West, Sean, $0.5m (P-2012)
for
SP Duke, Zach, $1.5m (2012)
OF Sweeney, Ryan, $0.5m (P-2011)

I am concerned with Sweeney's reoccurring knee issues and Duke frees up a little salary.  I really like revere and hopeful of 09 Span and not Pierre, but I will be ok if he ends up as Pierre.  West and Sanabia are a nice combo to have, I think I have the Marlins 5th starter no matter what.

Molnator, nice dealing with you, please confirm.

I think Sweeney is going to be ready for  spring training in 2011, and Duke completes my rotation as my 5th starting pitcher.

Duke could be a steal for next year.
