:bump: What can i say  :o .... I needed a starter and I get King Henrik to come to Phoenix add to this Briere who i think will have a bounce back year in Montreal and a couple of pick to fill my minor league roster ... I won't talk about the players i'm letting go on this trade since Papps will talk about them after me

Thanks Papps  :toast:

:PHI-NHL: to confirm

Flyers Agee. I'm rolling the dice with Bob as my goalie. I feel I get a nice package of players. I lacked depth and this deal gives me that. I probably wouldn't have been able to resign Lundqvist after this year as well.

Blockbuster! Blockbuster!
Slick move by the defending champ to land a starting goalie.
Flyers add good depth up front.
Not sure Philly had to include the picks but both teams are better overall after the deal is done.

Win to Phoenix. Coyotes plug a massive hole in their line-up with Lundqvist. That's a serious upgrade from the duo of Theodore and Vokoun. Goalies are getting moved more frequently this year with the league going to one starter nightly. Solid package heading to Philadelphia.

For a second there I thought I read Yotes just traded for King Henrik.

Oh crap!

Thanks a lot for arming my division neighbor there Philly. :soapbox:

Philly gives up a stud starting goalie, but gets an amazing return in my opinion. The yotes give up some major talent, but get a goalie and some cap space in the same deal, unreal...

Lets keep up the wheeling and dealing folks  :toast:

On paper, it's a Win for :PHO: right now acquiring a stud goalie in Lundy. By mid-season Marleau, Semin, Vbrata, Zajac will be making :PHI-NHL: look like a genius for unloading his spare starter while Bob is piling up "W's" for the real-life Blue Jackets!
