Title: Huge Trade between Yanks and Twins

The Yankees have parted ways with a fan favorite.

C Posada, Jorge, $13m (2011)  + 13m in cash in (2011)
CI Teixeira, Mark, $22.5m (2016) + 5m in cash in (2011)

For

C-CI Posey, Buster, $0.5m (P-n/a)


The yanks move the veteran posada and fan fav Teixeira, to acquire Buster Posey. Posey is a favorite of the yankee brass. With catcher being a tough position to fill, Buster sets the Yanks up well for the future. Tough loss losing Tex tho.

i accept it really really stinks to lose posey but i get a top 5 ci and a top catcher in return so i hope on winning this year

Both players are top value at their positions with Tex putting up better numbers and a longer track record.  Twins take on a lot of salary over the next few years. 

It is weird seeing the Yankees playing Moneyball.

I forgot to state that it is fiscally irresponsible for the Twins to lock up 1/4 of their cap in one player, but it is his team to manage.
