Title: Marlins/Nationals Trade
Post by: lp815 on October 19, 2010, 08:25:54 PM

The Marlins and Nationals have agreed to the following:

Marlins receive:
C Pierzynski, A.J., $6.5m (2010)
CI Nix, Jayson, $0.5m (2011)

Nationals receive:
MI Aviles, Mike, $2.5m (2012)

Looking to solidify my MI positions, as they were by far my weakest links last season.  I like A.J., who was really my best catcher at this time, but I'll risk moving him to make sure my MI spot is secure.  Marlins to confirm, thanks Sam!
