Invalid Extension

Maxwell's 2013 salary was 2.5M meaning the extension is for less than the salary in his last year. The following are the options you have. for an extension.

Extend at same value as old contract for 3 years $2.5m (2016)
Extend at 70% of old contract value for two years $2m (2015)
Choose to release Maxwell to FA
