Title: Would You Pay If There Was Prizes

Let's get some discussion on this.

* Keep the banter positive.
* Give your input.
* Present some relevant facts.

The goal is to fill a 30-team league with dedicated advanced hockey owners with CapGeek cailber knowledge and skills who will not abandon their team.

It's simply too easy for people to bail in a FREE league so we need to move away from that model and because if we want all 30-teams on 1-site (Fantrax), it costs $ and someone's got to fund it, might as well be split 30-ways.

If this gets enough support, it will only go into effect during the 2014 off-season.

Any idea on the payout amount? $50. $75. $100 or more.

min. 75$ given 5$ per team starting 2013-14.
as for this yr, if 5-8 new owners covers the fantrax costs, I will top off the funds to offer a 75$ prize... so pending prize for 2012-13.

let me add, if there's enough new owners funding the prize and a non-paying existing owner wins... i'll say that team won't be entitled to claim the prize only because they didnt contribute funds upfront. that's only fair.

share the risk. share the reward. :toast:
